Offering a birthday boy figurine featuring the August birthstone. I do not know the origins of this figurine. What we can tell is that it is old by the drawing of the eyes. Notice the uplifted pencil brows and no eye lashes. The little angel boy is holding a heart in the August birthstone color. Another indicator of its vintage age is the wording on the bottom. On the bottom of the figurine are the words: August and Carnelian. Carnelian is the traditional birthstone in ancient Roman, Italian, and Hebrew calendars. It measures 3.5" tall.
